Women’s Policy Group Request Extension to the Bill of Rights Consultation

The Women’s Policy Group have written to the members of the ad hoc on a Bill of Rights ahead of their planned meeting on the 12th November to request an extension to the consultation. The current consultation will run for just six weeks and the WPG have requested this be extended to 16 weeks. This timescale would be in accordance with the UK Codes of Practice and would give the wider voluntary and community sector a much greater ability to gather the views of the groups we represent.
